There are a number of great resources out there to assist you in identifying invasive plant species. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension fact sheets on invasive plant identification and management
  • The University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension invasive plant identification videos(YouTube playlist)
  • The Morton Arboretum have also created a series of videos(YouTube playlist) to help with the identification of several invasive plants.
  • Invasive Plants of the Upper Midwest – An Illustrated Guide to Their Identification and Control, by Elizabeth Czarapata, a comprehensive book to help with the identification and control of invasive species in our region. You can order this book from us.
