Completion of Betty Czarapata’s Book, “Invading Weeds”,

Threatened by Illness

Many of you know Betty Czarapata for her tireless work battling invasives, including organizing “Weed Out” in the Milwaukee County park system for the past several years. Betty’s book manuscript, Invading Weeds, is close to completion. Those who have reviewed the manuscript say that it is a very thorough treatment of the invasives of the Upper Midwest, and that it will be a valuable manual and reference for land owners and land managers, as well as a superb educational tool. Cancer threatens to prevent Betty from completing this important work unless sufficient funds can be raised to complete the book rapidly.
